TENDER NOTICE

 

                          Sealed quotations are invited from interested parties who wish to bid for providing vehicle (non a/c) with driver, for official duties, from Monday to Saturday, on hire/contract basis to the Office of Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai – 99.

                         Following are the primary conditions of the contract:

  1. The vehicle should be in good condition and fulfill all the norms set by the State Transport authorities.
  2. The driver should be of good moral character, well trained and should hold valid driving license.
  3. The service provider should ensure availability of vehicle and driver.
  4. The service provider should furnish full details of vehicle and driver
  5. The non-availability, non-engagement, charges will not be paid.
  6. The Contract can be terminated by giving 24 hours notice.
  7. The vehicle will be required by this Office for 25 days in a month for a maximum of 2000 kms.
  8. The monthly charges payable shall be all inclusive, i.e. driver, fuel, maintenance, repairs, insurance charges etc. and any other incidental expenses.
  9. The payment shall be made only on monthly basis and on receipt of the bill after rendering satisfactory service.
  10. Since the zonal headquarters is in Raigad district (Nhava Sheva), most of the time the vehicle can ply to Navi Mumbai and Raigad district also.

                          The sealed quotations can be submitted to the CHS Section of Air Cargo Complex at Gr. Flr., Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai, on or before 22.03.2007 till 5.00 p.m.  It should be addressed to the Commissioner of Customs(Export), Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Andheri(East), Mumbai – 400 099.  Quotations received after the due date and time will not be considered.  More information may be sought on telephone nos. 26828156 / 26829835. The Commissioner of Customs (Export), Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai, reserves the right to reject any or all quotations without assigning any reasons.
