TENDER NOTICE

 

            This Commissionerate has computerized system where check list of all the Import & Export documents are being generated through 40 Dumb Terminals which  are connected through LTS (Line Terminal Server) to the SUN Microsystem (server). The system is being operated by M/s CMC Ltd. on behalf of the Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai.

2.         Sealed quotations are invited from interested parties for the supply of following items for the use in the Service Centre in the Office of the Commissioner of Customs, Air Cargo Complex, Sahar, Mumbai.

A         20 AT-XT type Line Dumb Terminals along with identical keyboards.

B          30 Keyboards for replacement of present keyboards to the working Terminals installed in the service center.

3.         Further, the price quoted shall be inclusive of all the taxes including installation at site with present system.

4.         Purchase order will be given part wise with 8 to 10 terminals with identical keyboards on first installment & remaining terminals will be ordered as per requirements. However, keyboards will be purchased at a time.  

5.         Interested parties shall give demonstration before final order of installation of required/ordered terminals. Further, details of work experience of the company, existing client list, organizational strength / background & general profile of the organization should also have to be submitted.

5.         Bills for payments may be submitted on installation.

7.         The sealed envelopes should be addressed to the, Commissioner of Customs (Imports) Sahar Air Cargo Complex, Andheri (West), Mumbai-400099 and should be superscripted as “Quotation for AT-XT type line Dumb Terminals along with Keyboards or Keyboards”.

9.         The sealed quotation may be submitted up to 17.00 hours of 7th Nov. 2005. The quotation received after the due date & time shall not be considered.

10.       Interested parties may visit this office for actual nature of work between 11.30 & 1.30 pm on all the working days & may contact the undersigned for further specification.

11.        The Commissioner of Customs (Imports) reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations without giving reasons thereof.
