TENDER
NOTICE
This
Commissionerate has Indian Customs EDI System (ICES) software package which
accepts Customs documents electronically from Custom House Agents (CHA),
Importer & Exporter for processing by Customs Officers. The Bills of Entry
& Shipping Bills can be submitted at the service center in the ICES
location or filed online over Indian Customs Gateway (ICEGATE) using the Remote
EDI System (RES). ICES is designed, updated & maintained by Directorate
General of Systems & Data Management with the logistic support of National Informatics
Centre. It comprises processing of Import & Export documents.
2. Presently there are more than 200 PCs. installed at various
Customs Offices which are connected with ICES software & have been located
at ACC, Sahar, Mumbai.
3. Sealed quotations are invited from interested parties for work
relating to maintenance of LAN cables installed at various offices situated at
Sahar Air Cargo Complex, Mumbai. The required work of maintenance will be
comprehensive & may cover following area of work services.
1.
To
maintain the cables & repair the cable faults of LAN cable installed at the
various Customs offices of ACC.
2.
Repairing
& replacement of damage cable(s) &/or other accessories.
3.
Laying
of cables & terminations of the same.
4.
One
technician/Engineer should be available on call on all the working days.
5.
Downtime
will be six hours for calls received during working timings.
4. Further, the price quoted shall be inclusive of supply of
cables, repairing of damage cables, labour charges for such work &/or re-laying
of cable & other networking components. Further, the brand name of the
product to be utilized should also be specified. The total cost of such repair
work or replacement of cable should be for one year period, which should also be
inclusive of all taxes & duties.
5. Interested parties should provide details of work experience
of the company, existing client list, organizational strength / background
& general profile of the organization.
6. Bills for payments may be submitted on quarterly basis. It
is further informed that penalty for downtime, if any, shall be calculated on
per day basis by dividing the quarterly payment with number of working days in
a quarter. Downtime of over half day shall be considered as one day for this
purpose.
7. Log book entries shall be made after every service &
there shall be at least one check up / inspection per week at the location by
the authorized technical staff/engineer of the party.
8. The sealed envelopes should be addressed to the,
Commissioner of Customs (Imports) Sahar Air Cargo Complex, Andheri (West),
Mumbai-400099 and should be superscripted as “Quotation for AMC of LAN cables”.
9. The sealed quotation may be submitted up to 17.00 hours of
15th Sept. 2005. The quotation received after the due date & time
shall not be considered.
10. Interested parties may visit this office for actual nature
& extent of work between 11.30 & 1.30 pm on all the working days &
may contact the undersigned for further information.
11. The Commissioner of Customs (Imports) reserves the right to
reject any or all the quotations without giving reasons thereof.
